If anyone is having IE7 install problems mentioned in my last post, try running the installer in Windows safe mode /w networking.

Hi Jared,
I found your site via a WHOIS lookup of a domain you own, followed by a google search and so forth…
I am unable to find an e-mail address where i could contact you, which is why i’m — rather unorthodoxly attempting to get a hold of you via your blog.
Would you contact me on e-mail (the one i posted with) ?
Best,
Oliver

We had a simliar problem installing IE 7.0 at first. We found that the problem was caused by having the toolbars locked in the previous version of IE.
To check if you have the toolbars locked , right click on the Flag in the upper right hand corner just below the Minimize/ Maximize area. A small window will openb to show your current toolbars checked and whether you have the toolbars locked. If you do then IE 7.0 will not install until you unlock your toolbars.
